IBM Watson & US Open Experience

As an official sponsor of the US Open, IBM has tracked a decade of real-time data from every USTA match. This big data set offers a way to communicate a command of big data and the company’s ability to generate insights amidst complexity.

For two years in a row, we were asked to leverage these data assets through the design of interactive, data-driven experiences for event attendees.

Old and young, experts and newbies were able to play, explore and share the inner-workings of the game through data visualization and unexpected, playful user experiences.
